Today was my first day of fartleks. I was anxious going in that I wouldn't be able to handle the fast speeds, but I did okay. Felt really good actually. Then, I got home and went to my local running store, Berkley Running Company, and bought a couple new pairs of shoes, a fuel belt, "the stick", and a new pair of running shorts...Life is good!
