Long Ride With Kim.
Sometimes IM training is NOT fun,this ride was one of those times :((

At 32 miles I stopped sweating, and got chills, despite drinking a lot I had stop and sit down, and rest. Heat index was 105.

Kim said "Do you want to go back?"
and i said "NO!"

At mile 50, my legs were cramping so bad, that I had to walk up Pungo Ferry Bridge....but I kept moving forward.

At mile 55 there was a huge storm approaching us, and we had to sprint the rest of the way home. My legs were screaming, but kept going.

The problem was the heat, my takes me down hard, but I fought thru it, felt miserable, but fought hard.
Despite my nutrition, elctrolylyes, and tailwind, and 12 water bottles, I still lost 8 pound in fluid. :(((
I pray it will not be this hot come the IM
