First 10k were on the trails in the shade, but it really started to heat up the last 12k and I went through my 24oz of water quickly. For the last 3k, I had to alternate walking and running to keep my HR down. I'd allow it to go to 148, then walk a little until it decreased to 137, then repeated 4 or 5 times till I finished. Overall, a great week for me.
