Quite cold and very windy meant most of us were a good minute slower than before. I came 7th or 8th, but I wish I'd gone a bit quicker. Still a good workout :-)

Nice quality miles at that pace. What's the score with Southy Woods on weds? Do you know if that's the same route as Fenland Clarion use that we looked at the other season?

That wind was a killer. You did well too mate. When your going into the wind with 80s then a car goes by its not funny. Feels like you will get sucked under.
Is your coarse not flat then? There must be a flat 10 near you?16 days ago

Well done Steve, not the best conditions tonight. You're not wrong about Essendine and the drag out of Greatford isn't much fun, At least there are some nice quicker bits after on the home leg. I think Aslackby will be a bit better if the weather is kind. Great effort mate!! PS, you need to get the shower gel on it, if your monster's gone green. eeww

A mate of mine got a felt off eBay. It made a world of difference to his time. Over 10 he to 2.30 off his time. It cost him £1700. Which is a huge amount. I just got cosmics and clip ons like you. I can't justify the expense. If you think you will use the tt bike more then def a good idea as they are supremely quick. Btw they really need a disc on the back from what I've heard. It's very addictive ill give you that.

I agree. The position is everything. Right over the front and being able to push hard in low cad without it hurting seems to be the key. Well it is with me. Like u say elbows in head low, arse up :) I've notices that aero wheels do make a difference but not huge. Think being strong and fit is more important. I'm no expert, so Christ knows

I'm not exactly wiggo yet with a pb in the 27's, but I find if I can get high over the pedals with the nose down I get the most power. Apparently a TT helmet saves more time than the wheels boys. 30-40 seconds on a flat TT. Not done one of those yet though. Fast Steve!!!
