    If there's a tougher 5K parkrun in England I'd like to see it. 3 and a bit laps of tough climbs. Also some downhill sections but the climbs make this a tough old run.

    Squeezed this in on a break from work. 5 min warm up. 8 x 2 min intervals. 30 secs recovery. 5 min cool down. Warm day but a bit cooler by the river.

    Set off towards Weardale and north Pennines with a mate. Plenty of hills with 2 real toughies. Took a wrong turn somewhere along the way which added a few miles. Rough day but plenty of enjoyment v

    10 min warm up. 8 x 2 minute intervals. 30 seconds rest. 10 minute cool down. Did this at noon so was very hot but nice on the occasions it clouded over.

    Warm morning. Couple of tough hills on this 2 lap course. Ran the first lap in 24:30 and managed to run my first sub 50 minute 10K. Recent hard work is paying dividends.

    10 min warm up. 8 x 2 min intervals. . 30 secs recovery. 10 min cool down. Very warm for this. Averaged .28 miles per interval. Always seems mentally easier after a few weeks of half mile intervals.

    Did this after 12 hour nightshift. Cloudy and cool which is always good. Mike warm up/cool down with a push to try and beat my PB. Failed by 6 seconds but pleased with run after last weeks half.

    10 minute warm up. 6 x 4 minute intervals. 1 min recovery. 10 min cool down. Very warm today and managed the intervals in the shade. Averaged half a mile per interval.

    Cold morning with plenty of sunshine. Got myself a course PB which surprised me. Within 24 seconds of my 5K PB so still plenty of work ahead.
