Cool, 50, sunny. Barefoot. Ran down to SBYC and back on the sidewalk. No joint problems. 3 and 4 on both feet still raw, 4 on right still feels off, but good recovery from Tuesday. Picked up the speed a bit at the end.
"You'd never get away with that 40 years ago," said the old man ambling by with his cane, referring to my bare feet. I stopped to listen: "One day, back when I was a young man, I was working down here, but I was living in Cambridge at the time. As I walked along, six or seven young men started chasing me because I was wearing sneakers. They assumed that meant I was a basketball player. You see, in those days, basketball players were considered sissies. The real sports were tough ones like football and hockey. Luckily a bus was going by and I managed to escape on it. And now everyone in Southie wears sneakers."

Steve, I noticed you uploaded this via Garmin. I tried uploading using the beta Garmin and it didnt find anything. It could be that I had already downloaded the run and sent to garminconnect. Did you upload to dailymile first, then to other places?

I used the link you posted on SoSH. It asked me for my Garmin Connect login, and then it found my watch and downloaded the runs. Then there was a screen where I could select which ones I wanted to post to Daily Mile. That part was a little buggy, I could only do a couple at a time.
