My first swim after the Swimathon, but this week I played badminton on Tuesday, for the first time since about October, went for a walk on Weds then went on a blow out / New Order gig on Thursday, so was tired and aching before I started.
Got in, first strok, pulled a muscle in my groin - great start, managed to limp along to 20 lengths breast stroke, then swam one frontcrawl and one breast stroke to 100, my shoulder is now aching too.
Am I really thinking of doing Swimathon 2013.


Didn't the great swimming man himself, Dunking Gladhome, warn against swimming the day after a New Order gig? Well done for making the effort!
