  1. FIT
great Chest / Shoulders / Forearms

Loving the new Gold's gym downtown Murfreesboro. Far less crowded than the others. Now if they can only get some lockers -- throwing my gym bag on the floor is getting old.

  2. RUN
    good Second wind 6 mi

Forcing myself back into running. Mostly running, some walking. Knees hanging in there... so far.

  3. FIT
great Doubles Tennis in 104 degree ... 02:00

Took it to 3 sets and won the tiebreaker. Still undefeated. Good thing I brought my icy washcloth to cool off between sets.

Usually 100+ degree heat here is super humid. But tonight felt like Arizona. I've sweated more playing in 85 degree, high humid days.

  6. FIT
    great 50 set workout w/ trainer 60:00

Wrist has been hurting lately, so what does my trainer have me do -- every style of push up known to man. And cleans, and shoulder presses, and core... all 50 sets.

  7. FIT
    great Doubles tennis 00:50

Won 6-1, 6-1. Felt bad... when we were up in the second set 4-1, I said "I smell a skunk." Opponent took it as playful trash talk. Then in the next game, she smelled the skunk too. Ha.

  8. FIT
    great Chest and Back 00:40

Wish there were more benches at the gym. But made do with machine and flys. My new favorite back machine is the one where you lie face down and pull the weight to your chest. Maybe it has a name...... read more

  11. RUN

  12. RUN
great Treadmill run 3.1 mi 00:27 08:43 pace

My fastest tm run. Watched Bob's Burgers as I pounded out a 5k.

  13. FIT
    great Workout with trainer 01:00

Sets of 50! Yes, 50. 50 mil presses, 50 cleans, 50 squat/presses, 50 Bosu pushups, and 50 elevated pushups. Got through it.

  14. RUN
    great Beat 30 3.1 mi 00:30 09:39 pace

Yeah, still "grandmother slow" as I've read in several running forums, but I beat 30 min without stopping -- pretty much a first for me. Onward and upward

    • Gozling

939 pace is not gramma slow... if it is then i have both feet in the grave already!! Great miles and time!!!
