  1. RUN
good No Ordinary Moments 6.19 mi 01:13 11:43 pace

Sometimes I get so focused on a destination that I completely lose track of experiencing the journey. I've allowed my frustration of trying to get back to my peak fitness from earlier this yea... read more

    great 3 mi 00:39 13:08 pace

Running in this neighborhood presents some new challenges over the old one. There are very few flat stretches; basically 100% of the run feels like slogging uphill or barreling downhill. One unfore... read more

Rob, you always know how to make others feel special. Thanks so much for the kind words and warm welcome back. In truth, I've run very minimally since I stopped posting here, and I'd forgotten how much I was missing -- both the running and the wealth of support from kind people such as yourself. :) I'm really glad to be back.

It was a run. Another damp 38 degrees, and that was a-okay with me.

  4. RUN

I'm ashamed to say this, but I'm beginning to feel bored out of my skull. I feel like I've run over every inch of my neighborhood and adjoining developments a million times over, and... read more

Thanks for all the input, guys! I appreciate the support!

Keith, what a creative idea! I may just have to try that, thanks!

Richelle, if you only lived a few hundred miles closer... :)

Joy, I think you may be right. I've put it on my to-do list to at least contact the closest running group and see what they offer.

Last year I finally found a magical sweet (sweat) spot where I could take it: It was late August, and around 65* out at 5:30 am. I ran in my lightest pair of shorts, and no shirt. I was dripping in sweat by mile 3, and after 6 felt exhilarated. I think it was mainly electrolyte-loss-induced-delirium...

Nice run Stephanie! Running in the heat is very different than running in cooler weather. Awesome job planning to run later to get more miles in. Enjoy your run tomorrow.

Already tried the bandaids. :( No dice. Never knew I could sweat so much until this burst of warm weather lately.

That's too bad something like this interfered with your run. The motivation was there too.

There has to be a solution.

      Bravo -your dedication is superb.
