  2. RUN
quick destress run 2.01 mi 00:17 08:27 pace

The humidity is back but it's nice and cool (66) and sunny and I want to call in "too nice out to come to work"

  3. RUN

    good 5kish 3.05 mi 00:27 08:46 pace

    81deg 51%h 3 pm, stupidly
Felt harder to keep up that pace, but more pleasant than the cooler but more moist runs. And yet there's that 8:46 again. Not like I'm aiming for that or particu... read more

Also, the humidity is down to 60%. Still not ideal but glorious by comparison.

  7. RUN
    4.4 mi 00:38 08:37 pace

only 73% humid...felt more doable once I got going. but it took me an hour of procrastinating and bargaining with myself to get out the damn door. Almost went back in to get Flash instead.

  8. walk
    4.25 mi 00:37 08:41 pace

I had hoped to go earlier and much longer, but it was so disgusting out I don't think I would have gone any farther even if I had more time. Yuck. Much more of this and I'm moving out of CT!

I have thought about that...but I'd probably just complain about the elevation instead. THough I think that's something I'd eventually get used to. Not sure I feel that way about the humitidy. Meanwhile dad has put in extra miles the last two weeks because he loves to run when it's hot....at noon, no less. In my mind I assume this has something to do with basic training or maybe he
      is just nuts.

You would totally get used to the elevation, and then you would really appreciate sea level :)
Running at noon. Yikes. Maybe he's heat training for Western States :)

  12. RUN
    blah 2.54 mi 00:22 08:31 pace

Well that wasn't the plan. Had to stop and walk back to the house for a pit stop. Trying to motivate to leave the computer where there's air conditioning and get back out to the pre-storm... read more

  13. RUN

  16. RUN
    tired 0.6 mi 00:07:12 12:00 pace

  17. RUN
    tired "4 miler" 4.1 mi 00:36 08:51 pace

  18. RUN
    6.04 mi 00:54 08:59 pace

Really fizzled after about 4 miles. Should have gone earlier and/or brought water. Did play in the sprinkler for a couple minutes in the park and took a couple walk breaks during the latter two miles.

  19. RUN
    great "4 miler" 5.51 mi 00:48 08:44 pace

Funny that my pace avg out to that same pace. Actually my splits were all over the place. 8 even to 8:48 m/mi. Also, it's amazing how psyching myself up for a hot run and/or the lower humidity... read more
