Strength training on upper body, HITTs on elliptical for 30 mins and finished with 15 on rower.

I sure hope I do. I can put up with some pain. If I can at least manage to heal enough not to limp that would be great.

I had a PT script but the Dr. called back and cancelled it. Thought I was some other patient??? I then called Ortho Doc on Tuesday AM. Finally got call back last night. Asst. said he would talk to Doc and call me back. Still haven't heard back from him>:) If I don't hear soon I am calling again.

Strength training on legs. hobbled around with Wayne for a trial jog. Still painful but a little better. Will be icing it shortly. Elliptical 20 min then finished with 10 on rower
Another day of crosstraining on the elliptical. Strength training on chest and back. Leg is a little better I think. The win last night certainly made me much happier!!! ROLL TIDE
After spending the last 48 hrs RICE. I went to the gym for strength training and cardio. Stuck with the elliptical and rowing machine. Leg is still pretty painful.
I have never had a quit!! Pain in my calf got too bad I felt good and had strong pace. I thought my led would warm up. Had to walk couple miles to the car freezing!!! I am very sad
so sorry. I have gotten thru 3 runs this week but will see how my 20 goes tomorrow. Hang in there, girl.

Sore right calf. Soaked it with bio freeze last night and this morning along with ibuprofen. May not run tomorrow to rest it before 18-19 mile run Sat.
I hear ya girl. Been dealing with that issue and I have a 20 miler either on Saturday or Sunday. Take it easy and ice it.

nice way to end week. Sneaked in some strength training on upper body. James S making good progress. Run good this morning. I finished with 15 on elliptical. Plan on getting in some extra at lunch.
That sounds like a great way to end Christmas week. Can't wait to be running single digits again...

Hopefully things will get back on track next week. Another 6 - 7 weeks and it will be marathon time. I think we are running 16 tomorrow.

ran first 4 very slow with James. He is still really struggling with injury. Stayed with him at about 10:45 pace. Ran next six alone at a 9:00 pace. Looks iffy for tomorrow with storms.

Heather - nice to hear from you. The leg is very slowly healing getting real cozy with boot. Fracture of the fibula high up just couple inches beliw knee. No idea why it happened. Dont see fractures like this often. Bone isnt weight bearing. Doc says another 3 minths untik I can try running. Thank you for asking. Disappointing.
