Rather than continuing to allow Lord Asphalt dominate me I decided to embrace Him. Ran the longest distance on asphalt to date. Was hot. Was painful. Was educational. Feet may feel like hamburger t... read more

Good trail run. Found mud again. Lefty being good. Did a little bushwhacking and had to jump in the ocean twice (on both sides of the island) to get my little tick friends off. Toe patches flaring ... read more

I love my trails. Even found some mud, and my new favorite stuff: moss. Left foot acting weak again the first mile. Stubbed big toe once, stubbed forefoot plantar twice. This made my left foot very... read more

Meh. Huraches messed this one up for me. They protect but then hide my form from me. I am going to file these under: for emergency use only. Anyone have much luck with minimal footwear after going ... read more

I really feel like I got a better hold on this asphalt outing. Concentrated on cadence and played around with that a bit. I must have been rolling a little bit as I have some flare ups of the MTPs.... read more

Nice mixed-terrain run! I have a similar problem of one foot being happier than the other. They seem to take turns, at least. I say split the difference.

Best trail run I have ever done! Rainy and wet, there was lots of mud and I got to meet lots of nice slugs on the way. Found my caveman form early and kept it nearly the whole time. Felt beyond gre... read more
