Those are some nice splits and what a great long run. I bought a pair of Saucony Peregrines about a month ago - got about 115 miles on them and I like them. They have a 4mm heel-to-toe offset, which suits me pretty well.

I have a couple of different trains of thought on your post. #1 you have changed a lot with your running and you have seen some great improvement. In the last couple of weeks you have had serious issues with your saddle and that has caused back issues. Your hamstring and back issues were interrelated before and I am going to guess that what's going on in your back is affecting your hamstring. I truly believe this is temporary and the improvements you saw will come back very soon.
