I get it. I just am always waiting for another shoe to drop when it comes to running. Last year's knee issues reminded me that I'm not out of the woods on this crap. That said, we only can do what we can do and when stuff happens, we fix it. Right?

Thanks guys. Chris this is a good point, he's been really open about reading over his suggestions on approach, and asking as many questions as I want. I will. Thing is, I don't THINK he does any PT. He's only run form. I'll send you his link, Chris (just cuz) - you may have heard of him, Kyle O'Day. He came recommended from my sports med doc, so I have to think he isn't sub par.

Yes, yay. It is not quite guesswork. It is more like, let's eliminate everything we can little by little and see what is left. Clearly, PT is a critical component. And it has to be the RIGHT PT. Not just strength, but targeted strength. I'm no expert, but (as you know), I've got a weekly PT streak going back to the ITBS fiasco of 2015. And it hasn't returned. And I had an imbalance, too. And it can come back, I'm told, if I don't continue the streak. And did dry needles, too, back then.

It's amazing you stuck with those shoes, Chris. So these are the insoles I used to wear all the time. I mean, I've probably been through a dozen of them. They are Powerstep, which are made for plantar fasciitis. This latest pair weren't super comfortable - like the material changed, so I opted not to use them at all last year. But since the Kinvara fit is a little bit roomy, I thought I'd put them in. Bad idea! LOL.
