I tend to go simple - my running shoes and a couple of changes of workout clothes. That's all I need!

That looks like my list - I was being very lazy when I wrote 'running gear' which in my head covers everything above! :-P

Running shoes and clothes (most of my trips are in the 5 days - 1 week range, so 1 sports bra, 1 or 2 pairs of crops, 1 or 2 tops, running socks), and some of those Soak wash sample packs so I can wash my clothes in the hotel room sink, if needed.

During workouts I also use my iPhone, sunscreen if I'm outside, and my water bottle, but I'd pack those things no matter what so I don't really know if they count for these purposes. :)

Oh gosh, I eat/drink all those triggers! That's probably why I occasionally have to pop a few Tums before a run...

I have finally had a chance to thoroughly read through this. I hope the meds you're on are helping, and more importantly that once the current erosion is healed that you can be weaned off of them. About 3-4 years ago (before I started running distance) I ended up in the hospital overnight and an endoscopy which showed severe erosion. I spent about a year on prescription meds, and now just control with diet as best I can, but also take a Zantac as a preventative before any long runs/races. Hang in there!

the meds are helping about 95% of the time. I haven't had a chance to try a run yet - will tomorrow and see what that does. And, I will take the pill before I run to see if that helps. What do you eat during a run. I was afraid to eat much of anything on Saturday.

I do vanilla Gu, thereby avoiding any strong flavors. Also sometimes use Honey Stinger chews since they've got mostly natural ingredients. Also do pretzels from time to time for the salt.
