alright Hollywood Half Marathon - 2012 13.2 mi 02:20 10:38 pace

Started off pretty strong and felt good, I think a major problem I had was that I just got into this funky mindset and I did not hydrate as well as I should have. Around mile 10 I could feel myself starting to stiffen up, and the HILL to get to the end was tough. I did though did not stop once, and took it through and ran the whole time, which is a first for me. So despite suffering the last few miles, I was only a few minutes off my PR, and also I learned a few more things about dialing in myself for a race.

    Congrats:

I was definitely drinking more water during this half than I usually do - and still pretty thirsty for the rest of the day. Weird! Way to hang tough with that hill! Nice race Robb!

Way to push through the funky parts and finish strong. It's always nice knowing I'll get to see you at the end...even if I had to go up a gnarly hill!! Proud of you hub...but you better drink and fuel more:-)
