So beautiful today in the Texas hill country. Definitely a little breezier than I'd like, but without the jogging stroller it is SO much easier. My mom and cousin joined me and walked, and my neighbor Marlena ran part of the way with me. Nice to have company!

This was my first 6 miler for Team in Training. First mile was a little hard, but after the second mile it felt so good. Struggled a little during the last 3/4 of a mile, but was able to grab some stashed Gatorade and a few swigs really made a difference.

Took an entirely different route today. Ran across a low water crossing and managed to not get water in my shoes! Woot. I was rewarded with some breathtaking views. After my run, I sat down in the Frio River and it felt GOOD on my tired legs!

I'm beginning to think I was meant to run longer distances.....

Nice 6, Christy-- and looking good on the pace! Thanks for the comments on my runs, but don't take your 6 lightly! It's a solid distance, and mastery of that distance can lead you as far as you want to run, just a matter of taking it one step at a time!

Great pace... You can probably finish a 10k faster than me right now.
