    fastest run in a long time. Felt pain, but determined to do it in the 10-minute range. Stretched a lot. Hopefully this wont come back to haunt me.

      I know what you mean when you when doing the "remember when's"'s tough to know that at one point the runs were a bit easier. But good for you for staying positive! You will get back to where you were before. And do even better! Great 4.5 today.

      Thanks Dom! I have Rock n Roll Philly in Sept and the Detroit Marathon on Oct 20th. Trying to get in the groove especially with the long runs since the heat and pain has me very unmotivated. You doing any halves or full this year?

      I'm totally struggling with motivation too! The weekday stuff is easy, but it's these long runs that are a bit of a struggle. I've got two halves in October and NYC.

    The weather made running today necessary....despite this pain, I got 6 miles in enjoying the breeze and the fact that I can breathe today. Ahhhhhhhhhhh

    3 miles at the hotel gym followed by 30 jump squats, 2 sets of 12 reps @ 15 lbs, 2 planks @ 1:02 & 1:07.
