alright morning run 2.7 mi 00:33 12:18 pace

I can't believe how quickly I tired. Just under two miles, I was feeling spent. To be fair, my neighborhood is very hilly, but still, it just makes me realize how much I've lost and how h... read more

good rowing, efx, and core workout 00:35

trying to get back in the swing of things. I was pressed for time and didn't get as much in as I wanted, but I think that might be a good thing because I have a tendency to try to pick up wher... read more

Nice, slow, hilly walk with the dogs and my son.

  5. FIT
    good Pilate's class at the Y 00:45

I really need more flexibility and I'm hoping this will help, plus I can always use a stronger core.

  6. RUN
    blah neighborhood 3 mi 00:37 12:20 pace

I've been fighting a cold for the last week or so and it doesn't seem to be getting better. I feel worse now after the run but I just didn't want to take any more time off.

  8. RUN
    good neighborhood 3 mi 00:37 12:09 pace

I bet that was so tough!! Good job getting some miles in. Did you ever decide about a full? I'm torn between CMM, KY Derby Marathon, and Christie Cookie in Illinois (flat!). All are April 28. There is also the Knoxville one March 31...

  10. RUN
alright Greenway and Kenwood area 16.25 mi 03:25 12:35 pace

My longest run yet. I knew my pace was super slow and I was fine with that. I was more concerned with how far I was going, not how fast. I'm happy with it.

  11. RUN
    alright Neighborhood 3.6 mi 00:51 14:08 pace

Jogged/walked with dogs, this time includes giving them a few times to stop and sniff and potty. The muscle fatigue seems to be back. Oh well, I'll just keep trying.

  12. RUN
good Guthrie area 10 mi 01:54 11:20 pace

My daughter had a Christmas parade to do there, so I went on a run while she did the parade. It went well, was fairly flat, and mostly in the middle of nowhere. I had to deal with some dogs but the... read more

  13. RUN
    good Neighborhood 2.6 mi 00:31 11:43 pace

I am still fighting constant muscle fatigue. Not sure what is going on with that. I took it slow and easy and brought my dogs with me for a short walk/jog around the neighborhood.

I felt like that for a while. A marathoner friend told me to make sure I was getting enough protein and taking an iron supplement. I started drinking protein shakes 3 X a week (or more). Beverly International Vanilla from www.allstarhealth.com is the BEST I've ever had. I also make sure to have red meat 1 or 2 times per week and take an active woman's multivitamin with iron. Might help???

  15. RUN
    good Neighborhood 2.6 mi 00:30 11:26 pace

Rainy and windy! I thought as long as I was soaked, I might as well stop by and my house again and get my dogs for their walk, so I did. I am soaked to the bone.

I don't know about that. I just know I really lagged on our run together and it made me realize I need to put more work in during the week. :-)
