TGIF - Vacation Style 4.04 mi 00:30 07:32 pace

TGIFartlek Time! Only workout w/speediness of any sort built in while on vacation this wk on Sanibel. 4 "On" sessions of .5 in the 7-ish range and 4 "Off" portions of .25 in 7:45-8 range, plus warm and cool. Enjoyed the company of a bobcat crossing the bike/running path at one point! Super humid and covered in no-see-ums when done, but overall, gotta love FL. Run Strong Friends!

I've heard there are a fair amount of bobcats in FL, but have never seen one. Lucky you! Good job getting some speedwork in during vacation! That's usually the last thing I'd want to do after a busy day of doing nothing. Hopefully you took a dip in the pool or gulf when you were done!

Thanks guys! @Btb, yeah, they're here, but apparently fairly elusive usually. I went out about an hr before sunset and the unmistakable beaut walked right out of the brush about a mile from our beach condo. A large portion of the island is wildlife sanctuary. @Mark, I totally understand where you're coming from on that comment bro, and can def relate ;-)

That's the exact right type of speed workout to do on vacation, nothing super-structured. Hope you are enjoying the week.
