good Turbo session on back patio 28.46 km 01:17 13.8mph pace
Can't get out on my bike much since I have my 8yo, Tommy, at home over the summer, so thought I would get on the boring turbo with my cross bike for a little sweaty action. Did this whilst st... read more

Great job getting in the ride on the turbo!! Looking at the weeding that needs to happen would be a painful ride for me. I would be so tempted to get out there that the ride would almost certainly be cut short. Still, you managed to get a very nice ride done. Great job Shelly!!

That's the way Shelly. Keep pedaling but do stay safe. Defensive and safe. BTW - There is some beautiful natural music to listen to out there - birds and the countryside sounds. Music is for indoors methinks.

I'm with you Shelly, I think I'll stop listening to music while cycling. Jack Johnson's happy tunes will have to wait till I get back.

Cannot stop thinking about Dale Tusen. Even though I never met him, i just knew he was the most genuine, fun loving, honest, family man who worshipped God AND loved cycling.

Amen Shelly. Dale was one of my first friends here on DM and the one who was almost always first to encourage or say something to life me up. I looked at his photos last night. He posted more photos of his kids than his bikes. He certainly had his priorities straight. A loving guy with a child's eternal enthusiasm. He is missed already.

I had a hard time at work the day I heard of the news and found myself tearing up as well. He will be in our hearts for a long time.
