:^) - yeah, the Di2 was a gift from my husband. He had upgraded his Di2 from Dura Ace to Ultegra, so I got his hand-me-down, which I am very thankful for!!! It is so sweet - highly recommend and would never go back!

Thanks guys!!! Yes, taking it really steady - no hills for awhile.
Overused my quad/itb instead of using my glutes more on all the hills I did earlier in the year, pulling my kneecap over. Still aware of it, but getting better!!!! yippeeeeeee!!!

Great job getting in the ride on the turbo!! Looking at the weeding that needs to happen would be a painful ride for me. I would be so tempted to get out there that the ride would almost certainly be cut short. Still, you managed to get a very nice ride done. Great job Shelly!!

Thanks Richard and Kevin! We did have a couple of mounting-biking friend who said they took the route we took, so we knew it could be done, but didn't think about how much of a beating it would take on 48 year old bodies!!!!!

What a great ride Shelly. I'm so glad to see you back on the bike. I've never been one to listen to music while riding (or in my running days). It's too important to be able to hear cars behind me, etc. 26 said it right, there is all kinds of wonderful natural music to listen to. I'm glad you were able to get back on the horse and enjoy it!

Amen Shelly. Dale was one of my first friends here on DM and the one who was almost always first to encourage or say something to life me up. I looked at his photos last night. He posted more photos of his kids than his bikes. He certainly had his priorities straight. A loving guy with a child's eternal enthusiasm. He is missed already.
