Better. Not good, but better. Working on it! :-)

  3. I guess I am considering today a "rest" day since apparently SEC football teams playing is the equivalent of a holiday here in the southeast. (Even though my team is actually ACC...)

I'm an SEC girl though not either team playing. Pretty much everyone on my Facebook has taken a side too! Gotta love us in the south! Geaux Tigers for me (and usually, go Kentucky!).

hahahahaha! sorry to get a chuckle from your pain....so glad you made the effort! After about six weeks you will start to lose everything you worked for, so you might want to run at least a couple times a week to keep what you have...(I just read that...omg...does it make sense? lol) Very proud of you for getting out there, you will probably like it next time!

Good luck in Savannah! You'll do great, I'm sure. A lot of my friends are running it, and I wish I could be there. I'm the opposite with training plans - unless I have something to tell me what to run when, I don't do it. I'm cool with switching days up but I've gotta have that plan.

So glad to see you back on here Shelley! I think I'm a lot like you. Following that plan to the T really sucked the joy out of it for me. After my third 1/2 in April, I've been taking some time off from a schedule. Not necessarily the best thing, but good for my sanity right now. Good luck next weekend! I'll be cheering for you at my end!
