but it was good enough for 2nd in my age group.
and here's some things i'd like to share:
-i have a difficult time NOT stubbing my toes HARD
-i wore sunscreen today. that didn't protect my dry week-old sunburned skin from chafing. ouch.
-generally speaking, i roll my ankles around a lot on the trails. my toes hurt 10X more.
-trail runners are so friendly
-an example: i made a friend with a guy out there today and i hardly saw his face as one of us was always leading the other, but we ran 10+ miles together.
-also, when i saw Claire G. out there i shouted, "yeah, go porkchop!" and we high-fived and i loved it
-i love doing races when Angela K. is there too. i loved when we ran our half together and i loved knowing she was out there today too
-the running was good today. my legs were tired. now that i'm home i think maybe my legs are just as sore as when i did my 50
-do a trail run asap!
