    good picnic point. 5.4 mi

    so, gps stats
    but about 5.4 miles
    (because i took the long way
    around the boathouse)
    on a beautiful afternoon.

    good governor dodge state park. 4.5 mi

    ran most of this
    and hiked a bit
    of the steepest
    sunniest sections
    on a 85+ degree
    sunny, summer day.
    i was feeling rough
    but glad to sweat
    even just a little bit.

    we probably did about three miles
    because we got off course
    one or four times...
    and it only took us
    about 90 minutes to complete!

    of sleep last night
    and then snuck in
    a neighborhood run
    kind of a slog, really
    before getting on a bus
    to coach in Minneapolis.

    but I know the point run
    in 5.2 or 5.3 miles

    not my fastest attempt,
    nor my slowest
    but al I care about
    is getting it done.

    didn't erg all last week
    but missed group strength today
    so I wanted something a little tougher
    before frisbee tonight.

    and beautiful temps.
