My original goal was to run the 13K shore to shore race across the Bruce Peninsula in August 2011 and get that off my 'before I turn 50' bucket list. DONE! in 1:17:46 Finished the season with my first half marathon 2:15 I survived the Warrior Dash 2012

Should have selected a stretch of road with some shade! Was forced to walk part of the way because of the heat/sun. Was pleased that I didnt allow myself to hang a right on George street to cut my run short. Had planned on doing 13K but my ankles were starting to complain, I was barely prespiring and I was feeling a chill coming on. Time to pay attention to the signs of dehydration. Longest run this season for me so I'll be happy with that even if my time wasn't all that great. Now what shall I do with the rest of my day? :-)
