      Yup running injured is not fun I always say to myself when I'm injured that I would take a pain free slow rain rather than an injured run any day. Nice job pushing through the pain to get those miles in Shannon!

      I think I hurt it from over-training this summer - I am headed to the Ortho people on the 10th to see what they say...Here is the website for the tape - I think the idea is for better blood flow; I'm sure you could use it for both feet if you needed it!

      Sometimes, it hurts to walk on, but not all of the time - but as soon as I start running, I starts shooting pain out and makes it unbearable.

      The same thing happened with mine. I started walking for the same amount of time (or distance, if time allowed)that my runs should have been and that seemed to help more than pure rest. I also got a pair of CW-X compression socks that *really* helped. I started running a few steps during my walks but only as long as it was completely pain-free. It was months before I could run uphill, though. Hope some of this helps!

    Great Race in my Kiss costume. Ran along the bike path in Rapid City with lots of other characters :) All proceeds went to the RC Cancer Institute so a great cause to go along with a fun race!
