Such an adventure you were on! I saw some of the posts you were tagged in on FB! The cancelled flight sucks, esp when you are in the final leg! about 2 years ago we we were driving down 75 for our annual Smoky trip and all of a sudden we found ourselves at a standstill no moving at all. There was a gas spill about 7 miles ahead from a tanker. We were literally in a parking lot. People were getting out of their cars to walk around, play cards etc...

Welcome home!! From the posts you were tagged in on Facebook it looked like your trip was amazing!! Good for you getting in any running while over there! Sorry to hear about your awful travel experience! My husband travels for work and has many stories like that! I haven't traveled as much but last year we took a red eye flight home from AZ and my little one wouldn't sleep. I had to stand at the back of the plane rocking her while she cried herself to sleep.

We just did some work to our bedroom (crown molding, base molding, door casings, paint, furniture, mattress, etc.) If I won the lottery I would continue that in our hallway and our other three bedrooms.
