I started running toward the Red Lion Hotel, but I don't have a hand-held water bottle yet, so I turned around and went up Goodwin and explored that part of town. Then, I ran to the levee and my usual route. I think I've caught on to how to run up-hill! YAY!

YAY!!! great job conquering the hills!!!

Wow, that's great! I tried jogging slowly up a hill and it beat me over and over again. I'm in awe. :-) Nice!!

@Jen, There's a certain form to it. There are articles in Runners' World or if you go to YouTube and search "how to run hills" you can find instructions. Thanks!

I'm guessing you're shortening your stride but keeping your feet moving at the same speed? Either way, nice run, Shaindel!

@Michael, It's pretty much exactly what this site says: http://www.fitsugar.com/How-Run-Uphill-Perfect-Form-8516705 The thing I needed to work on was the "toe lift-off" the article talks about.
