      There's a whole science to HR running. Instead of going out to run a certain pace, you run to maintain a certain HR. When base building, I hear, it's a great way to build LR endurance.

      Nice run, Seth. You'll probably need to wear your HR monitor for a while to see which efforts/moods/feelings coincide with actual distance/pace. If I were to run and saw my average HR was 148, I'd conclude that it was an easy day and I didn't push myself too hard.
