Tried to focus on consistency in my tempo splits today, as some of read in my blog post. I did great for 4 miles, then biffed the last two. Plan was 2 mi warmup, 6 miles tempo at 8:10, 2 mi cooldown. Tempo splits: 8:08, 8:09, 8:09, 8:09, 8:03, 8:12. Absolutely poured down rain the entire run.

    Pacing is tougher in the rain, I've found. All things considered, staying in a 10-second window for the entire tempo portion is pretty solid!
