I couldn't stomach another couple of hours on a treadmill, so I went out and braved the cold. I can't remember a run with a more diverse set of footing. Zamboni'd-like clear ice, slushy, squishy snow, huge chunks of crunchy, hard ice and cleared roads. I'm not sure which was more harrowing, the uphills or the downhills. This 12 felt like 20. Happy to be done!

Way to tough it out Sean. I understand how the 12 could feel like 20. Much tougher on the legs. Great work!

I shouldn't complain since it's our first real bout of winter weather but the slush, ice and snow make it hard. Way to get it done .... and I agree on the treadmill. YUCK!

I suffered a 2 hr treadmill run on Saturday, so I feel your pain. Not sure I want to do that again for a long time. Way to brave the elements, buddy!
