good UConn Gym 2.3 mi 00:30 13:13 pace

  4. RUN
blah UConn Gym 1.9 mi 00:21 11:03 pace

  5. RUN
    UConn Gym 2.6 mi 00:30 11:32 pace

feeling stronger each time. i don't think i could use the treadmill to increase distance, but it will work excellently for increasing pace to my goal of under 10 min/mile for a 5k distance.

no post-run euphoria this morning: left achilles started straining by mile 3 and my right hip felt like it would pop out any second from overpronation. plus i forgot about my pace at the start.

  8. RUN
    alright Meriden 5k 3.13 mi 00:36 11:30 pace

same run felt harder than two days ago. worked on stride to be less heel-y and more toe-y; i want to keep my knees. this will improve in the near future with new stability shoes for flatfooters lik... read more

it's great! the roads are quiet and running early really energizes me for the rest of the day. with running, i may actually be turning into a morning person.

good Meriden short run 1.91 mi

first run in the home town. ice cold wind - gloves and not shorts would be a good idea.

  11. RUN
    good washington, dc 2.5 mi

two and a half on the treadmill after 14 hours of driving - a good way to stretch out
