walk/run intervals for 16 mins...2 minute walk home...WELL, my first attempt at the walk/run program outside...supposed to walk 3.5 mph and run 5.5 mph...no faster than that...and for 15 minutes...well, I kinda failed...lol...didn't calculate the right distance for 15 minutes, and every time I looked at my speed I was close to 7 mph or more, so maybe the treadmill is the way for me to go right now...I sure do not want to risk re-injury...actually my average pace should be 4.5 mph ~ 90 degrees, 38% humidity, wind SW 14 mph ~ foot actually feels okay right now...calf muscle is pretty tight...lol...anyway, it sure was good to be able to run even this little bit!

great job way to go bud

actually I didn't do TOO bad...my average would be 4.65 MPH...granted that includes 2 minutes of walking to end this thing but I didn't go overboard as much as I typically am known to do : )

Solid run / walk Scott, but you are wise to watch over doing it.

Thanks Rob...I am following what the physical therapy experts are recommending for sure...I do mean "experts" too...I was blessed with a Nike pacer for the Chicago Marathon and a female who ran her first 5K at 8 years old and ran track and cross country for GVSU...the other two therapists are runners as well along with my doctor...I think I am in good hands as long as I behave : )
