For the first 9 miles, I was feeling really good. I was able to keep about a 9:30-10:00/pace and then would walk during the rest stops. I was taking in GU's and Endurolyte pills at each rest stop, as well as water and gatorade. I walked up both big hills as well. When I got up on the bluff, that's when the heat started affecting me. I ended up doing more running/walking for the last 4 miles.
