      If it makes you feel better, I get that way too after races. You train and train for a race, and then after it's over, you are physically and mentally drained. It's good to to give your body a rest. Taking a week off is good after a marathon, and starting back slowly is wise. Don't beat yourself up about this. You're doing great and being smart about it.

    A combination run walk on the hotel treadmill. My threshold for treadmill running is pretty low unfortunately. But, better to do something than nothing.
