Oh no, so sorry you dealt with these stomach aches! It sounds really bad!! Cramps can totally kill a good run, so I know how you feel! Hopefully it was just a weird thing you ate the night before - maybe try and write down what you've been eating if it keeps happening? Sending good vibes your way - the next one will be better!!!

Thanks for the concern. Even a few days out from this incident my stomach still hasn't been feeling great, so I'm thinking this is a weird isolated incident. No pains after Saturday, but an uncomfortableness when I'm moving around.

It was definitely thick out there the other day! Nice 4 :-) It is nice to know that you stop during your long runs but it doesn't affect you on race day. I never trained with stopping and have never stopped in a race before. So that is why I have been nervous about race date lately since now I have been stopping on the long runs!

This class was at Living Healthy & Fit in Hamburg. The studio is owned by my friend Carl, but this class was taught by my friend Carrie. Carrie teaches at A2 Yoga and is currently studying for her 500 RYT under Noah Maze in California. Carl also used singing bowls in this class and it was a great addition. The poses are held long and the singing bowls helped to return my mind to my breath. This class will be held again at the end of October - perfect for post-marathon!!
