      Awwww - that IS sad. Bird and animal mommas tug at my heart. And yeah-- I hate that when rebuilding: I go out thinking, "Oh, it's only eight miles," having lost all respect for the distance. Nice eight miles!!!

      Awesome, congrats to you guys too! The other one is ready but HE doesn't think he's ready. It's a fine balance since he has hypotonia (low muscle tone and poor balance, especially lateral balance), and he will have to work on starting and stopping faster. He has the balance down while in motion, but we don't want to make biking a negative experience for him. He LOVES to ride his bike, and it's so good for him physically, and we don't want to push him too much before he's ready.
