What a shame about the cold, but you did the right thing - it will go much quicker because you are giving your immune system a fighting chance IMO. My Christmas wasn't brilliant either, but I have a really good feeling about 2012. Maybe we'll meet on the trails - that would be nice.

Welcome back! We all know what it's like to be injured and missing it - the pits. Hope you'll be better soon - 3 injury problems in a row is quite enough. Do you ever ride on the Harewood Estate? If so, we may have crossed paths (me running or walking).

      Thanks for the kind words.
Unfortunately I haven't visited the Harewood Estate yet although it is most definitely on my list of places to go as I have heard wonderful things about it and it is very close by.

blah evening walk/jog through pine... 3.14 mi 00:49 15:41 pace

Pffth. Could barely get over a walk without my heartrate rocketing over 70% which meant I had to slow down again. It felt so close so I was glad when it began to rain. I actually like the rain, how... read more

Way to keep it up and getting another 3 mile day in. It takes time to get where you want to be.
