blah Neighborhood Hills 1 mi 00:11:03 11:03 pace

Terrible. Had such high hopes, but I got a cramp right away and it got worse the whole mile, to the point I though I would vomit from the pain. So I enjoyed a leisurely walk home and I will try aga... read more

great Neighborhood hills 3 mi 00:31 10:18 pace

Wow. My diet has been off track the last few days (needed a mental break from my normal strictness), so I needed to get a run in to help burn a few extra calories in addition to my evening workout.... read more

Sunday was my first outing on my new race bike - and she's a total dream! Head wind heading out really slowed our pace, but the tailwind on the way back really made up for it. I love my new bi... read more

I keep forgetting to log my workouts! First open water swim of the season on Saturday. 2 loops of the swim course for the New Town tri. Did one loop in a wetsuit, hated it, did the second loop with... read more

Good for you Sarah! I don't quite have a fever yet, but I'm starting to get a temperature. :) Got any races lined up for the summer yet?

Signing up for a race is the best motivation. :) Good luck next month. Is that the spring Rec-Plex tri? The distance looks right.

  6. RUN
    alright Neighborhood - Hilly 3 mi 00:33 11:04 pace

Meh. Figured I should start tracking miles here since race season is gearing up. I'm getting faster, but this should have been faster since it was so short. Dag, yo.

alright The most intense class ever 00:55

Holy leg cramps, batman. This guy worked us like crazy! Tons of climbing, standing, sprinting...great class but I hated my life for a little bit of it. I think I even lost some brain cells due to o... read more

    good Club Fitness class 00:55

After 2 weeks off, I expected it to be tough...but holy crap, this lady whooped our butts!! THREE turns to the right? I felt like I was riding through cement. Owwwww. And YAAAAAY! :)

  9. FIT
    great Class 00:55

I LOVE SPINNING! And for the record, 'Rhythm is a Dancer' is hands-down the best spinning song I've experienced yet. :)

    good Muscle Works Class 00:55

She kicked our butts, but in the best way possible! I hate you, push-ups, but perhaps one day we will be friends.

  11. FIT
    blah Gloria's class

I suck. And it doesn't make this class more fun. I could barely hold the poses requiring arm strength and my balance blows. Meh.

    great Zumba 00:55

So fun! But I'm terrible. Kinda makes it more fun, really.

    great Spinning class 00:55

AMAZING!!!! I adore this class. Super tough but amazing. I was smiling the whole time - the exact opposite of when I run. I'm in love!

  15. walk
    good Dreadmill 1 mi 00:17 17:00 pace

I don't want to rush from doing nothing to doing everything, so I only tried a little running. About a quarter mile at a nice easy pace - felt okay but clearly there's a long road ahead!

  16. FIT
    good ZUMBA!!!! 00:55

I might've looked dumb, but that was way fun. Go, Team ZumBow! (I'll be sure to bring extra hair bows next week.) Sweaty good times.

I'm doing the Rock n Roll downtown. I'm super nervous. I haven't had a really strong run in weeks and I'm doubting my ability to be ready. I'm going to add in a lot more weight training to see if that helps, but I was really hoping to PR this race! Now I think I'll be lucky to finish. :( Okay, pity party over! Thanks for letting me vent.

Hang in there Sarah! You still have a few good weeks to get your mileage up before the race. Don't stress, just relax and do what you can.
