      Well, I'm pretty much just doubling and extending what I normally run when training for a half. I'm also copying what I did when I ran my last marathon :)

    Kept a nice, steady pace for this run, but the temps were in the 70s and the sun stayed behind the clouds :) Hard to believe the weather was this nice today after the 90s we experienced yesterday!

    So glad I chose today to do my long run--even with a little humidity, the temperature never rose above 78 degrees! I'm also very glad that I brought my Gu Chomps with me :)

      Awesome miles! !!! I use the chomps plus the power gels and sport beans from Walmart. Looks like you are doing well on increasing your mileage. Do you wear a fuel belt with water bottles? Or do you stop at water fountains?

      Thanks!! And I carry a water bottle with me--it has a little compartment for my chomps. I have a route that allows me to fill up my water bottle :)

      Good deal. I have a friend who ran 18-20 milea different times without carrying botles and really dehydrated himself

    It was slightly cooler today, but the humidity was still there! Did an easy three to end this running week.

    I've only been taking Henry on runs that are less than a mile since it's been so humid; after I took him back inside, I did four more :)

    Even though it was cooler this morning, there was still more humidity than yesterday. Legs were a little sore, so I took it easy on the hills/inclines.
