I actually found an awesome-looking greenway in Nashville, along the Columbus River to get in today's 4-miler, but I've just been in my car so much this past week and I wanted to actually get eight hours of sleep and take advantage of the free breakfast here at the hotel. So, I hit up the treadmill right here in the hotel instead of venturing outside for my run. I paused the machine twice (once to go grab a towel and once to fill up my water bottle) and the damn thing cleared my workout each time, so I have no accurate time/pace data for this one...but it was slow. Like, 10:45-11:00-minute-mile-ish slow. (This is why I hate treadmills - my stride is so long that I can run so much "faster" when I'm outside or on the indoor track - because I can cover so much more ground. I feel so confined when I run on a treadmill!)

hotel treadmills are always frustrating - way to get a run in!

Free breakfast and some solid miles...what more can you ask for? (aside from a longer treadmill!) :)

Good job sticking with the running on a road trip. That's tough enough.

I have actually changed hotels a couple of times due to the treadmill's condition. The important thing is you got the free breakfast. No, wait, the important thing is that you got on the treadmill and got a workout in. Yea, that's it. Good job Sara.
