  1. RUN
Roberts farm trail 4.3 mi 00:41 09:35 pace

I had to giggle- they measured/timed this cute local trail race as an "8.5k" which had my pace in the mid 7's which, on the ankle deep mud, single track hiking trail terrain would ha... read more

    good Pineland Farms 50K 31.06 mi 05:08 09:54 pace

Well, for the first time in possibly EVER I managed to plan how I wished to run (or hike) a race and perfectly execute it. Much credit goes to the perfect racing weather- 50 something and damp is i... read more

Maine coast marathon route, l... 20 mi 03:00 09:00 pace

Crazy hot day (65 when I started quickly rising to 78- good to acclimate but glad I was not racing.) 7 miles backwards on the gorgeous route at easy pace (9's) then caught up with Danielle S. ... read more

  4. RUN
Nice cold rainy run 8 mi 01:05 08:07 pace

46 and raining is my jam. Base run with 6x 4:00 at HM pace. All was well, I really appreciate the 25 degree temp drop.

  5. RUN
    Base run 8 mi 01:13 09:07 pace

Nothing like a 20 degree temp change and a bunch of sore muscles from a canine mishap to really make your daily run a drag....

  6. RUN
Run with mile repeats 8 mi 01:05 08:07 pace

Totally decent run today. Base pace with 3x1 mile repeats at 7:23, 7:11, 7:08. No complaints.

  7. RUN
Super fun Monday run 4.2 mi 00:33 07:54 pace

Really really fun run. Super windy for the first 2 miles and after fighting against that the final 2 miles got kinda fast because they felt so easy! Legs were happy and the whole thing was fun and ... read more

    Trail/Mountain adventure 10 mi 01:33 09:18 pace

This was quite the adventure, up some of the shitty dirt "roads" in my town (that are legit trails- the farmers call them "cow paths" you get the idea.) Also a legit mountain so... read more

Unicorns and bears, oh my! I know there are bears out there but I'm glad I've never bumped into one on a run! Nice trail run.

Spur of the moment 5K 3.1 mi 00:22 06:58 pace

Since I'm not a great 5K runner I was happy with this finishing time. For me, any race that averages a sub 7 pace is somewhere between "insane" and "impossible" so I'm... read more

    Ugh 10 mi 01:28 08:48 pace

Ugh. At mile 5 my stomach was basically like "eff you dude" and things were fairly awful after that. Legs still odd. Crazy weather too, everything from hot (60 hahah) then very windy, the... read more

I hate when the weather does that. One time I had rain, strong winds, sunshine, and hail all in the span of 20 minutes on an 18.5 miler.

Also, sucks when stomach decides to be a jerk. I hate those runs

    Easy 8 8 mi 01:11 08:53 pace

It's always the first hour long post marathon run that reminds me I just ran a marathon, haha. Nothing really wrong- legs just felt out of sorts and poorly acclimated to running after a relati... read more

I'm sorry that the weather turned against you. After such an arctic winter, what's up with spring coming on so strong? But you ran the first half so well, and it sounds like you had a good weekend overall. Nice job finishing under tough conditions and still finding some positive in the experience.

Oh I hear you loud and clear. I was dizzy by mile 18 and was adding Gatorade to the water just trying to regain focus. It was a struggle for dure. I added 20 minutes to my goal and got flagged by a medic after the finish for staggering and incoherent speach...but we did finish. What an amazing day overall. The heat was tough. You were tougher:)

Easy 6 with tiny repeats 6 mi 00:52 08:39 pace

It was nice to do today's run with Eric, I had last year on my mind and needed a good distraction! We had a fun run together, nice easy pace on a damp warm day with 4x2:00 at just under MP.
