Legs of Lead! Heels have been acting up again. KT taped up for plantar fasciitis, but still pain. :( Need to better roll out my calf muscles and up into my thighs.

Sara - try this for our PF
    1) put on some thin socks (even nylons will do) then go walk on some jagged rocks. You know, like the desert landscape. Do this for several days.
    2) Roll your foot with a hard ball, like a golf ball

Finally - you have heard me mention it, but I would highly recommend learning ChiRunning. It's an overall form to prevent injuries.

Merry Christmas and hope to see you soon!

    1) Does walking on cat toys count? 'Cause I do that on a regular basis! :D
    2) Oh, yes. I have to keep reclaiming my tennis balls from my cats. They think that they're their toys!

ChiRunning... Is there a class/instructor/book/video that I can learn more about this?

LOL 1) No 2) Tennis Balls aren't effective, they are not hard (they are actually hollow inside. You need a hard golf ball or see my #1. As far as ChiRunning - all you need to learn about their products is found at their website. www.ChiRunning.com - have you checked there, yet? I bought the book & DVD through Amazon.com - then took the workshop. Takes about 4-6 weeks to learn and get in the groove, but SO worth it. I have been 9 months running injury free. Can't beat that!
