Wait, you are doing a hard long run the week before a marathon!? You crazy! Thanks for helping make the logisitics of today work out -- I can't wait to run with you again. And yes, PLEASE, you can help "pad" my mileage this year and for the rest of our lives together... I will gladly run with you ANY time!

I'm not racing Icebreaker and am using it as a training run. So no taper and no real change to my plan. I'm substituting Icebreaker for a "20 miles easy" run.

One day, I'd like to chat with you about Bikram. There are a couple of poses that I cannot do to save my life and I was wondering, as a runner, if you have the same hip/knee inflexibility that I do. I'm inspired by your consistent practice!

I think my biggest issue is really tight hamstrings. They have gotten tons better since I started 3+ months ago, but still the thing I am trying to work on the most. The bikram saved my hip this year so I invested in a year membership. So now I have to go a lot to get my $'s worth.
-
Bikram is expensive for sure! Glad you like it.

The studio I go to is new and had a deal for new students that averaged out to $50/month for the year. With that great deal I signed up for the year. Next year it will be super pricey :(
