North Chagrin with Joanne! 5.2 mi 00:48 09:10 pace

Our first mile was 10:00 pace-ish so this overall pace must mean we ran at least one sub-9. BLAZING for me these days :) Pushed daughter. Was a little chilly, but otherwise perfect out. 5 miles was over too fast. Is it next Tuesday yet? Hopefully Joanne will be up for a run after her blazing half PR this Sunday :) I had a little pang of regret that I didn't add on an extra mile since my daughter was snoozing when we finished, but then thought better of it. It's hard to adjust to the taper mindset no matter what it is you're tapering for. I know I'm better off just going with the flow right now, but it doesn't mean it's easy!

Yes, I guess your kind of taper is different than most have experienced. Solid 5 and nice restraint. Looks like you've recovered from the hectic weekend.

Yes! I checked our splits and first mile was 9:50, last mile was 8:44. Pretty freakin' amazing for 33 weeks and pushing a stroller! And yes, I'm looking forward to next Tuesday already!

If I was 33 weeks it would take me 8:44 to just get off the couch. Nice work.

Great work today. No harm in not adding the extra mile.
