Neighborhood 6 mi

I actually felt great this afternoon when I got out. Temps were cool and rainy. My son wanted to tag along so I pushed him for the first 4 in the single stroller. We had a such a nice time chatting and admiring the leaves and all the wildlife around our neighborhood. Only bad thing was some guy gave me the finger because he had to slow down as he passed me and there was a car coming in the opposite direction. Yeah, I'm such a jerk for hanging out in my own neighborhood and using the roads. WTF?! Anyway, at 4 miles son was done so I dropped him off and did two more. So glad I made it out! Congrats to all the amazing racers today - Mindi G. and Greg S. in particular :)

Thanks Salty, hope you avoided the rain today. I don't see many drivers when I run, but still manage to encounter the occasional inconsiderate one. Nice 6.

People really amaze me sometimes. Nice six despite the DB driver.

Thanks so much! :) Nice run. Non-running peeps definitely suck sometimes.

The leaves changing is really a pretty sight right now. That is one of the main reasons why I only run on the Towpath now is because of the idiotic drivers. I have had to many close calls. It is like shame on you for making them wait for 2 seconds. Give me a break. Oh well, I look at it as they probably have a miserable life but they bring it on themselves.

That sounds like such a great run.

I once had a car veer toward me and then honk after I jumped on the curb even though I was running in the bike lane (clearly marked) and it was a boulevard with 2 lanes in both directions and no other cars on the road.

Seriously, who gives the finger to a pregnant lady running in her own darn neighborhood with her kid in the stroller?! What an a$$hole!! I so want to hunt that guy down and take a drill to his tires, and I don't even have pregnancy hormones that I could blame it on. :-) Looking forward to seeing ya tomorrow!
