Woohoo! Great run made me feel confident yesterday was just a freak thing. My husband and I watched the women's marathon this morning and then dropped the kids off at my mom's and hit up a path by her house. I felt great! First mile was close to 9:30 and then it just rolled down from there. Last mile was 7:48! It rained most of the way and kept us cool and I drank 2 hand-helds full of water and some gatorade at mile 8 when we took a short pee/drink refill break. It was so nice to run with my husband - we haven't done it since the winter! Good thing he's out of shape and can run slow enough for me :)

    Happy to hear this run went so much better! One of my friends gets intermittent palpitations, and I know the palpitation/ anxiety cycle can be frightening and challenging to break. Glad you found yourself a good buddy to run with today :)
