This is a very competitive race and I WON my age group! I've won my age group every year I've run it except for when I was pregnant the first time, which is fun because you get your photo in the local paper. I had my photo in the paper the year I was pregnant with my son, by coincidence! I can't believe the streak continues. I passed the woman who came in second to me with about a mile to go. At the finish she said, "you remind me of me when I was pregnant. That was 15 years ago." Ha! I don't think she realized how old I am :) My teammate ran an amazing 26:19 to break the long-standing course record. What a great morning! Splits as I recall: 7:20; 15:33 (hill!) 22:09; 29:21; 36:22

Way to go! Winning your age group while preggo is awesome! Glad you are feeling so good these days.

You are SO AMAZING. I'm seriously in awe. And I have to admit, I thought you were a lot younger too when I first saw you tearing away in that 5k we ran. I guess we late-30s gals don't want to admit someone our own age could be that fast while also pregnant! Thanks again for the encouragement to run this race and the great advice in general. I'm learning so much from you. :-)
