I don't know how it feels with the divorce, but I had a friend who passed away recently and I gelt like a big blob of goo and couldn't motivate myself beyond the necessities of daily life, but once I started hitting the gym again, it began to get easier and the time I took to workout helped me work through my thoughts and come out feeling better on the other side. Plus, just think, if you really do get a divorce, you want to look like one hot momma and have that nice boost of self confidence!

it could be a hairline fracture. That happened to me and I kept running on it but couldn't rise up on my toes at all. Be light on your feet. Maybe Doc R can send to to an xray. hugs

Top of the foot soreness when sitting still that goes away with exercise sounds like a bruise or one of the "itis'es" (perhaps the metatarsals). It could be caused by a number of things from a bruising event to tying your shoes too tight. Most treatments involve NSAIDs and icing (assuming there's no actual breaks). Ibuprofen and ice could be the solution. On the divorce topic... this is a tough and stressful time. Finding things to be a release, to be about you time, help.
