Crikey Lass! That is a bit of a wind up. You need to listen to the body and see if you can build up time on your feet in other ways. Maybe power walking to start with. tedious I know, but maybe worth a try for a bit. Then it's second opinion time maybe. Enjoy the wine. I enjoyed my two glasses tonight (rest night dontcha know) Hope you can keep the fitness levels up; keep positive!

Very frustrating for you! You'll get through it though, you've proved very successful at maintaining & even improving your fitness levels despite running injury in the past.

The bike is new so is being lovingly cared for....sort of....I gave it a wipe down as soon as I got home but it will be cleaned and polished later. I have never cleaned a bike so many blinking times!!!! But training needs doing and the rain ain't going away :( Looking forward to some sunny training days though.

am in a similar position regarding the bike (so know your pain !), I live in small block of 12 apartments, where officially bikes are not allowed indoors, although there isn't anywhere outdoors to store them. I have mine chained to the top balcony railing and have been told by the managing agents that all the time it's clean, then they can't see it, when it's dirty - or continously dirty then they'll enforce the rule ! :-(
