  1. RUN
    around town 4.41 mi 00:40 09:04 pace

Early morning run around town. It's always hard getting out of bed, but I love being out there before most of the world wakes up. And before most of the cars are out on the road.

  2. RUN
Saddle River County Park 10 mi 01:34 09:26 pace

Beautiful morning, but tough start. Stomach felt off, legs were sluggish, and I somehow developed a new blister on the remnants of my post race blister. But the last few miles felt good, and I&#... read more

  4. RUN
    through town 3.06 mi 00:27 08:56 pace

It was so hard to get out of bed this morning, especially once I realized that the heat had kicked in over night. But there are far too few mornings where it is light out before 6 am, and I have t... read more

  5. RUN
Saddle River County Park 6.07 mi 00:55 09:06 pace

My daughter woke me up at 5 to tell me she had a sore throat (now confirmed strep) and to wish me a happy Mother's Day- so this morning's run was easily the most peaceful part of my day!

  6. RUN
Through the park 4.03 mi 00:36 09:01 pace

    Steamy morning run.

  7. RUN
    around town 3 mi

First post-race run. Legs are still a bit sore, but it felt great to be outside. It's going to be hot today, but the early morning temps were just perfect. So glad it is now light enough... read more

  8. RUN
    NJ Marathon 26.2 mi 04:23 10:01 pace

Awesome race! Perfect weather, great course, wonderful volunteers. Missed a PR by 20 seconds- which isn't bad considering my interrupted training and my lack of any real goal! And my inj... read more

Short run to kick off the week.

  11. RUN
great Saddle River County Park 4 mi 00:35 08:46 pace

Even with a lack of quality sleep and a slight hangover, it was a beautiful run. I need to live someplace where we have weather like this all year long.

  12. RUN
Saddle River County Park 10.04 mi 01:33 09:17 pace

Fabulous run. Everything felt great and the weather was perfect. And it just smells so good outside!

  13. RUN
TM at the gym 4 mi 00:35 08:50 pace

4 miles incl. strides. Definitely getting my groove back.

  14. RUN
    Hotel TM 4 mi 00:36 08:56 pace

1 mile w/u, 2 miles at tempo, 1 mike cool down. Felt good to pick up the pace a bit.

  15. RUN
    The park 3.07 mi 00:28 09:11 pace

Recovery run. Quads are sore. And it is cold out there!

  16. RUN
Through town and the park 20 mi 03:31 10:33 pace

Last long run before taper, which is funny cause it is also my first long run in a month. I'm sore everywhere, but nothing is really hurting, which is a good sign.

  17. RUN
TM at the gym 5 mi 00:45 08:58 pace

Ran at the gym while watching the morning news coverage from Boston, my heart breaking for the victims and their families, the people of Boston, and the runners. On the bright side - no pain.

  18. RUN
Through town and the park 10.08 mi 01:36 09:31 pace

Perfect morning for a run. Slight pain in the foot/hip, but really more discomfort than pain. Hopefully some ice and foam rolling works it all out.

Nearly perfect run! I think the pain you are experiencing my be your new normal. I have a certain level of discomfort in my right ITB and Achilles almost always. Running almost always aggravates it depending on distance run. I've just come to accept it and use the foam roller, stick, step-stretch and yoga type stretches to help. I think you're going to be OK Stacey!
