After my 14 miler on Sunday I was pretty wiped out the rest of that day and yesterday and most of today. Wasn't sure how this would go but thought I would head out and see what I had and to try to get a few miles in. Was shooting for 5 if I could last that long, would cut it at 3 if needed. The first mile clicked off at 10:06. Then the second and third was feeling good and decided to go for five. Hit 4 and then hit 5 about .20 from my car. I was thinking my first mile came in under 10:00 and really wanted the last mile to be the fastest tonight. I was pushing it coming into 5 at 9:50 but it felt good, and I wasn't sure if I made it or not. Thought mile 1 might of been 9:54 or something so to be sure I kept going. Got the last mile in at 9:00! Whoo, hoo. Garmin is a bit messed up as the time said I started this run at 12:05 am on 8/6, um no! And for some reason I had the first lap of 15.39 feet at a 7:22/mi pace. Then my miles start so not sure what is up. DM screwed up my Sunday posting of my run and put it in a weird order. Must be a technology hangover from the full moon last week! Oh well. Splits were: 10:06, 10:20, 10:13, 10:10, 9:50, 9:00. And yes, I finished with a big ol grin on my face! Happy Tuesday everyone!
